Reboot & Recover is an innovative 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides solutions for balanced living in a technology driven world. The focus is on youths that show a heavy interest in technology, the internet and gaming.

Our Vision Statement: We strive for the wellness of families and individuals by creating and providing research, education, intervention, treatment options and community resources to aid those suffering from the harmful and negative effects relating to the use and overuse of technology.

The services we offer are education, prevention, treatment, research, and resources to the community regarding technology overuse and addiction. By providing education and prevention to children, individuals, and families we aim to diminish the negative effect technology overuse can have on their quality of life. In place we provide tools that they can use to attain happy, healthy and balanced lives. Reboot & Recover assist children and adolescents in learning how to balance their screen time wisely by engaging in activities that are essential for healthy growth and development.

These activities focus on essential health factors which include:

  • Critical thinking abilities

  • Daily living fundamental skills

  • Physical activity

  • Emotional wellbeing

  • Effective communication skills

  • Interpersonal life skills

  • Intrinsic values, morals, ethics and foster self-confidence

Additionally we offer therapy for individuals, couples, and families struggling with any issues related to technology overuse and addiction. The treatment is provided by licensed and practicing professionals in a confidential and caring capacity.

We offer presentations, forums and consulting to agencies, communities, and individuals that would like to inform the general public, people they serve, or their employees on any of the topics we cover. This includes:

  • Video Game Addiction

  • Internet and technology Addiction

  • Social Media Addiction

  • Internet pornography addiction

  • Gambling Addiction

  • Cyberbullying

  • Sexting

  • Parenting the iGeneration

All presentations include clear definitions of these topics, specific examples of each, and a step-by-step explanation of how to treat the issues with conflict resolution solutions. Our presentations can be catered to the audience’s needs.

As a public charity we are primarily funded through individual donations. We cannot continue to exist without you! We also offer clinical supervision for mental health counselors seeking licensure as well as provide internship hours for individuals seeking their Florida Certification Board licenses for Certified Addiction Professionals.
